If you would like to take part in one of our used car auctions, you first need to register. You can register online with our registration form.

You will also be required to pay a R 5000 refundable deposit. This can be paid in cash on the day of the auction. Please note we do not accept credit cards or bank deposits. 

Once registered and paid, you will be able to bid on our cars at auction.  If on the day of the car auction, you don’t buy anything then you may leave your deposit in your account and take part in future auctions.

Once registered and paid, you will receive a card buyers number so you can take part in our car auctions. Your buyer number will allow us to process pro-forma invoices quicker.

If your R 5000 deposit is still in your account, then use the card number to register for future auctions.

Our used car auctions are Every Saturday at 12:00. You may view the vehicles for auction every Friday from 9:00 – 17:00 at 205 Baan Street, Capital Park, Pretoria North or you can view our cars for auction online from Monday on our online catalogue.

On the day of the auction, bring a copy of your South African ID or Passport. If you are not a South African citizen, also bring a traffic register certificate.

You can pay your R 5000 deposit on the day of the auction in cash.

Seen that used car, you want? Use your buyer’s number to start bidding.

If you win the car auction, head to the invoice counter and show your buyer’s number. We will print your pro-forma invoices. These invoices can’t be split, which means that you will need to pay for each car you win for them to be released.

You may not negotiate the price after winning the car auction. The final price is the hammer price.  

Once, the auction is finished, you will only have 24 hours to collect your vehicles. Once, 24 hours have passed and if you still haven’t collected your vehicles, any damages incurred will not be our responsibility.

If you are unable to collect your vehicle in the timeframe, let us know. You will be subsequently charged storage for late collections.

When collecting vehicles, make sure to bring proof of payment. If want someone else to collect the vehicles for you, then please email us at sales@carsauction.co.za with the following:

- Person Collecting (Name + Surname)
- Copy of their ID Passport
- Copy of their Driver's Licence

We will not release vehicles without this information and all invoices must be paid in full.  Register now and start bidding on our fantastic range of used cars.
